Mission

To network through broadband internet the communities of forest peoples (Indigenous, Quilombola, and Extractivist) in the Brazilian Amazon.

OBJECTIVE

To connect one million people in 5,000 communities in the Amazon by 2025, including Indigenous villages, Quilombola communities, and Extractivist communities in protected areas. This initiative aims to provide conscious digital inclusion through programs focusing on education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, territorial protection, and culture.

HOW

The project operates on three pillars: (i) ensuring the implementation of the necessary equipment for broadband internet access in each community; (ii) deploying a management and control system for the Connection Forest Peoples network in each community; (iii) providing programs and actions in the areas of health, education, entrepreneurship, territorial protection, and culture for the communities.
